ReplyDeleteYour chart needs another column: "would continue current foreign policy of undeclared wars of agression" with a check mark for all of them except Paul, and maybe Johnson. Source: Dec. 15 debate on Fox News.
ReplyDeleteGive it a rest.... Paul won't get nominated...! Period. He has great ideas, and yes he is on message, but he is also delusional when it comes to world affairs, beside he is way too old to be president... Look at the others before him, how they were before they took office and look how much they aged now... On his 4th year... Paull would fossilize and crumble up... We need a President with balls, not an isolationist...!
ReplyDeleteAre you implying that data on the scorecard is wrong? Or just stating you don't like Ron Paul? I'm good with either, but if your intent was to correct some data on the scorecard, please provide links proof-positive information and I will be happy to update!!
DeleteThanks for the comment.
Aye, because disobeying the Constitution isn't delusional - obeying it is!
DeleteBeing the World Police isn't delusional - it's our prerogative!
Your balls point is fed to you as many people continue to spread that misconception. To stick to your principles regardless of public pressure is the only measure of intestinal fortitude (balls) and Ron Paul is the only candidate that has it.
But, you feel free to back the lesser of two evils and vote for the sellout of your choice.
Robert, your argument has no substance. Worse, it sugguests that you don't actually know what you are talking about. A president with "balls" is what we need you say, and yet you do not realize that man has been in front of your face. Worse, you mock him. The "balls" that Congressman Paul has shown his entire career are unpresidented in an American Presidential Election. "Balls" would be what you clearly have when you continue to fight for your ideals and beliefs without abandoning or changing them due to pressure from others or personal gain. "Balls" would be continuing to battle for American rights and freedoms despite the horrendous treatment and misinformation displayed in the media and therefore instilled into millions of unaware minds. "Balls" would be going to war for your country. Or giving medical treatment to those who only have government aid/medicare - AND NOT ACCEPTING PAYMENT because you actually practice what you preach. "Balls" is leaving your comfort zone in a hard earned medical practice to fight to correct what you feel is hurting the country you love so entirely. "Balls" is returning the bonus you are paid to work your tail off for those issues in Congress. Lastly, "balls" is what it takes to believe SO MUCH in our country that you would be willing to be a practical martyr for a chance for the truths to be heard. And all of this while only accepting a proposed PRESIDENTIAL SALARY of $39,400. Oh! and alllll of this while being "too old" to be president- old enough in fact, that by number, you could have avoided all of this resistance and been living cushy in a gated retirement comminity playing golf everyday. A large percentage of Americans won't even work because they don't want to lose the government check they "qualify" for. I'd be comfortable saying Ron Paul is the ballsiest man on the planet.
ReplyDeleteCare to continue??
Julia - I am giving you a standing ovation.
ReplyDeleteI double that standing ovation.
ReplyDeleteI triple it!
