Who to vote for in November.......

GOP nominee Romney just used his massive wealth to change the rules of the GOP and squelch the voice of the grassroots.  Delegates no longer control the party.  Our representatives just signed on the dotted line and gave away our control.  The GOP has put one more toe in the coffin.....

As a life-long republican, I have and always will fight for control from the bottom up.  Bowing down to the 'elite' is not what I consider American.  So with Romney's power-grab, we are left with voting for Obama the socialist or Romney the king.

I choose neither. I choose freedom and liberty.  Consider participating in the poll on the right.  Will you vote for Romney to get rid of Obama or will you vote for freedom and liberty, which will likely ensure Obama another 4 years?

Audit the Fed will be brought up under a “suspension of the rules.”

This means the Fed’s allies won’t be able to offer ANY amendments to water down the bill.

But under suspension, we must have a two-thirds majority to win, so we need your help more than ever to push the bill over the top.

Audit the Fed currently enjoys the support of a majority of the U.S. House, but you and I know from experience that nothing can be taken for granted.

Please contact your representative right away and demand they vote “YES” on Audit the Fed.

Are peace officers above the law?

It saddens me that many peace officers think they have the right to illegally enter someone’s home without any consequences.  It also saddens me that religious peace officer organizations are now making political statements (ie, Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers-USA) and appearing to not support constitutional rights, while removing any members’ comments that don’t agree with their administrator. 

We as peace officers swear to uphold the constitution.   We are to fight for liberty, not to take it away.  A home owner should always have the right to defend his property from unlawful entry, whether it is a criminal, neighbor, or person under the color of a government employee. 

I don’t want to end up dead from a mistake any more than the next officer, but that doesn’t justify us trampling on individual rights.

Great News for Texas!!

The liberal Speaker of the House Joe Straus will now have a solid Tea Party contender in Rep. Bryan Hughes.  Straus needs to go due to his support of democrats during elections, his distaste for liberty, and his unwillingness to be a staunch supporter of conservative priorities.  Rep. Hughes is very conservative and honest and he will be a GREAT speaker!!

Travis County, Texas fought to keep grassroots involvement..and WON!!

Travis County, Texas did politics the old fashion way...in the garage!!  When the local GOP establishment tried to take away the rights of indivuduals, the Tea Party responded; and respond they did.  They overcame all sorts of tactics and at the end, mainatained precinct control of their delegates.  The establishment tried in vain to put the selection process into the hands of a committee hand selected by the GOP leadership.  The delay tactics of the establishment went beyond the lease time for the convention.  But the delegates would have nothing to do with it and demanded to end outside!

Congrats to Travis County for standing up for freedom and true conservative ideals!!

Gun Sales Put on Hold by Manufacturer: “We Cannot Meet Demand.”

Today, the gun manufacturing industry is in boom mode. One firm, Sturm Ruger, has announced a new policy: it will accept no more orders until it catches up with production. It has one million unfilled orders. It hopes to resume order-taking by the end of May.
Think about that. It is selling over two million guns a year.

Texas will play little or no roll in the GOP primary.....

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- A federal judge has told Republican leaders in Texas to plan as though the state's primary will be May 29 because the long-running dispute over redistricting likely won't allow for it to be held any earlier.

U.S. Circuit Court Judge Jerry Smith on Wednesday did not officially set that as the new primary date. But the judge's guidance virtually extinguishes any chance of Texas holding an April primary.

A primary in May or later risks making Texas irrelevant in choosing the Republican presidential nominee.

Texas had been scheduled to take part in March's Super Tuesday, but the state's ongoing battle over voting maps derailed that.

Earlier Wednesday, the sides announced a deal on a temporary map for the disputed state Senate boundaries, leaving unresolved the state House and congressional maps.
